Imperial Star Green Spinach

Latin spinacia oleracea

This hybrid variety of spinach is easy to harvest from its upright stalks. Smooth dark green leaf color with excellent flavor. Spinach has higher levels of vitamins and minerals than lettuce making this a good addition to any health conscious gardener. Can also be used as a micro greens option if harvest when extremely young (25 days). Resistant to downy mildew and has higher bolt resistance than other spinach varieties.

Sow directly into garden or into containers as risk of frost subsides. Matures in 40 days.
