Latin coriandrum sativum

Cilantro is a versatile herb used in many traditional dishes and is great for seasoning tacos, meat dishes and pastries. Great for both container gardening and traditional backyard gardening. The first harvestable leaves usually appear within 30 days of sprouting. Continually harvest throughout the growing period without completely defoliating the plant.

Growing cilantro from seed is very easy. Sow directly into garden after danger of frost has subsided. Planting in well draining soil in a full sun location will provide the best results. Matures in 85 days.
