Hero Mix Marigold is the largest flowering dwarf variety of French marigolds. The double crested flowers are a mixture of golden yellow, deep orange, and fire red. A very low maintenance marigold that tolerates adverse conditions. Grows to a mature height of approximately 8". It's short height makes it an excellent border flower.

Starting indoor will give a nice head start and allow for a full season of flowering. Growing marigolds from seed is very easy and can be done by sowing directly or starting early indoors. If starting indoors, sow into soilless mixture 6-8 weeks before last frost. Using bottom heat will improve germination rates and speed. If sowing outdoors, wait until soil temperatures are warm and the risk of frost is gone.
