Typically harvested in summer, Walla Walla onions are perfect for fresh eating, grilling, and adding a mild onion flavour to dishes without overwhelming heat.

To grow Walla Walla Onions, start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost, spacing them 4-6 inches apart. Keep the soil consistently moist but avoid overwatering. As the onions mature, allow the tops to yellow and fall over before harvesting.
