The New Day Gazania Mix is a sunny mix of bright bronze, yellow, red, bi-coloured and striped flowers. The compact habit of this hybrid makes it an excellent choice for borders and the front row of flower beds. The stunning daisy like flowers will delight throughout the hottest parts of the summer. Gazanias are know for their drought tolerance. Avoid spots that are high in moisture.

Starting gazanias from seed is moderately easy. They must be started indoors to achieve proper growth by mid-summer. Sow 8 weeks before last frost into a soilless mixture. Seeds can be started at room temperature and should germinate within 14 days. Grow on after germination at a temperature of approximately 15 degrees C. Harden off before planting into outdoor bed. Do not plant gazanias in a shady location. Space plants 12" apart.
