Silver Drop eucalyptus is a a highly sought after and shorter version of the Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. Silver Drop will produce very fragrant silvery leaves on a shorter shrub-like eucalyptus plant. Plant height is usually around 3-4 feet in both height and width.

Growing eucalyptus from seed is quite easy but should be done indoors to start. In a soilless mixture sow seeds 1/4" deep and apply bottom heat to help with germination. Once sprouted they can be grown under grow lights and at a cooler temperature of about 16 degrees Celsius. Makes sure you harden off your plants sufficiently before planting them into their outdoor home. These can also be successfully grown indoors as long as they are in a very sun location.
