Latin Eucalyptus latens

This variety is often found in Mediterranean climates. It is well known for its blue-grey pointed leaves. This variety is a unique addition to your houseplant collection. Like most eucalyptus it is only possible to grow outdoors in frost-free climates. Makes an excellent smelling filler for decorations and bouquets.

Growing eucalyptus from seed is moderately challenging but can be done given the right conditions. Always start with a soilless mixture and sow seeds only 1/8" deep. Light will aid in germination. Using a heating mat will also ensure consistent warmth throughout the germination period. Generally speaking germination will take 14-21 days so be patient. Grow in full sun for best results.
