This fast growing peppery green (actually an herb) is a highly nutritious addition to your diet. Grow for the young shoots for a quick harvest of 15-20 days from seeding. Add to salads, sandwiches, soups and shakes for a vitamin boost.
Growing garden cress is incredibly easy. Cress is a cool weather crop so plant nice and early in the season. Sow 1/4" deep in rows and thin to 6" apart. Harvest as needed. Garden Cress will regrow at least once. Succession planting can be employed at a continuous rate every 10 days. Garden cress may become bitter as the temperatures become too high.
