This steel blue tufted grass is an excellent perennial for the landscape. It's compact habit and vibrant colour makes it an excellent option for mulched beds. Used below or around signage, this grass will not over take or block it. Maximum height is around 18".

Growing blue fescue from seed is relatively easy but requires a little patience. Germination will take anywhere from 21-35 days in proper conditions. Starting indoors is recommended and should be done at room temperature or below for best results. Start this process anywhere from mid January to Late April. Sow into soilless mixture and maintain moisture throughout germination period. Transplant after approximately 6 weeks.
