The Hybrid Boldor Beet is one of the best yellow beets on the market today. The superior flavour, germination and growth habit makes this one outperform most other varieties available. Growing beets form seed is very easy. As with almost all root vegetables, they must be started directly into the garden. Sow beet seeds 1/2" deep, spaced 2-4" apart and in rows 18" apart. Do this as early as you can work the ground. For a continuous harvest succession plant throughout the summer. Young beets have a higher quality. Matures in 55 days.
