Latin solanum lycopersicum 'yellow pear'
Miniature pear shaped heirloom tomatoes with a sweet flavour define this variety. A vigorous indeterminate grower with an abundance of fruit. These tomatoes are great in salads and for snacking straight out of the garden. Give these plants decent room to grow as they can get quite large, We recommend 2.5-3' between each plant. Make sure to cage this variety as it will need support to grow to its fullest.
Growing tomatoes from seed is quite easy. Here at Pangea we start ours about 6-8 weeks before last frost and grow under lights until they are ready to go out. Tomatoes need a lot of sunlight as they develop to be strong and dense so place in your sunniest location or supplement with artificial light. They can be started up to 4 weeks before last frost and still be productive relatively early. Matures in 70 days from first transplant. Plant in a sunny location and supply ample water for best results.
