The beautiful lilac/pink flowers open at night and release their beautiful fragrance into the night. Particularly noticeable on calm evenings, this flower will delight your senses. Planted in the hottest areas will reduce performance. Cooler, full sun locations are preferable. Use in mass plantings around decks or patios for the best show and fragrance. Grows to a mature height of 18".
Growing stocks from seed is moderately easy and can be done both by directly sowing or by starting early indoors. If starting indoors, begin in 6-8 weeks before last frost. Stocks is particularly susceptible to damp-off so ensure adequate airflow during the seedling stage. Always bottom water if you are indoor growing. Direct sowing is our preferred method if your season permits. Sow when soil temperatures are still a little cool. We sow ours a week before last frost.
