Latin brassica rapa var japonica

This fast growing asian green is a great addition to your healthy diet. Grow in containers or in the garden and harvest as needed. Can be harvested at any stage with success. Avoid high temperatures as it will tend to bolt once temperatures increase. Lighter flavour is found in the young leaves.

Grows in a variety of conditions including light shade. Sow seeds early in the season as this is a cool season crop. Can also be planted later in the year for a fall crop. Sow seeds 1/2" deep in growing medium and water in. Seeds should sprout in 5-10 days. Mizuna can be harvested at any point to your likings. If cool weather permits, harvest leaves as opposed to whole plants for a continuous harvest. Matures in 45 days.
