Latin ipomoea nil
This highly sought after Morning Glory bears beautiful variegated foliage and flowers that are either red, pink or blue. Flowers have their distinct white margins only found in very select Morning Glories. The Dwarf Picotee variety does not vine up like other Morning Glories. It has a very compact habit that makes it excellent for container planting, hanging baskets and garden borders.
Growing Morning Glories from seed is quite easy. They are sensitive to transplanting so using plantable pots is recommended if starting early. You can also directly sow them into your prepared planters indoors. Start 4-6 weeks before last frost to get a head start on the season.
