Black Dragon Coleus is a tidy low maintenance option for low light areas. The deep purple edges surround vibrant red or pink centers. Coleus is the perfect choice for east and north garden locations.
Grows to a mature height of 12-14" tall and 10-12" wide. Avoid full sun as they will lose their spectacular colour.
Growing coleus is easy but is best done indoors 8-12 weeks before last frost. Using a pre-wet soilless medium, thinly scatter seeds and press into surface. Do not cover as coleus needs light to germinate. Use bottom heat for these seeds for best results. Once germinated grow on at room temperature under grow lights.
